Donald Trump doesn’t work out which is obvious, but his daughter Ivanka Trump has an impressive workout routine. You can love the Trump family or hate them, but Ivanka is pretty successful. She is a mother of three and a businesswoman, on top of that she still manages to find some time to hit the gym. Let’s check out her workout routine.
She wakes up at 5:30 a.m.
Time management is one of the crucial skills the first daughter needs to have. She does use her time wisely. To stay fit she needs to wake up early, and she told My Mourning Routine that her kids “wake up at 7 a.m. on the dime” and added: “I get up at 5:30 a.m. and meditate or work out — or both.”
Trainer Peter Monge put together her workout routine
A person who put together Trump’s workout routine is Peter Monge, the founder of NYFitness. Ivanka said: “When I’m in [New York City], I like to work out at the gym in my building. My trainer, Peter Monge, put together a workout program for me.”
Ivanka respects her readers and admirers, and she will go through a similar workout program with Monge that is “exclusively for [her] readers” to follow. It is a “total-body workout that will strengthen the core while focusing on movements that use as many muscles as possible to increase heart rate, burn more calories, and speed up the metabolism.”
The routine includes everything you want from a workout. There is strength training in combination with conditioning, cardio, balance, and coordination. According to the plan, you should “do your cardio 2 to 4 times a week, alternating with strength-training days.”
Morning squats
Ivanka showed her fans that she is committed to her morning workout routine by posting a video to Instagram. We can see her doing squats in her t-shirt, leggings and her hair gathered in a ponytail. She captioned the photo: “Up and at ‘em!”
She doesn’t skip her practice
Ivanka Trump is a busy woman, but she doesn’t skip her exercise. She sticks to the same training routine “on my own in the hotel gym when I travel.” However, Ivanka did admit that sometimes she is unable to hit the gym, but she forgets about that day and “starts new the next day.”
She runs with her husband
Ivanka told People in July 2016: “I like to run with my husband [Jared Kushner]. It’s something we started doing around a year and a half ago when my team at my fashion brand all decided collectively we would train for a half marathon. I had never run like a half mile in my life, so this was a very daunting experience.”
She added, “But in addition to having an amazing time with the incredible women that work for me, I also picked up a running bug — like I really actually rather enjoy it. So I go out with my husband every Saturday morning, we’ll run for an hour, and we’ll just chat. It’s an amazing time for the two of us as well.”
SoulCycle and Yoga
According to The Daily Mail, Trump regularly attends SoulCycle classes and a yoga studio as well. With her trainer Rhonda Malkin, a former Rockettes dancer, she goes through a “fusion workout” which is “a combination of yoga, pilates, dance, and a meditation that exercises the body as well as the mind.”
Exercise makes her feel good
Trump told People: “For me, at the end of the day, exercise is more about how I physically feel and it’s giving me clarity of mind and diet has more of a direct impact on my actual weight.”
